Dogs rule…
Turns out, dogs really are our best friends. A new study reveals that dog owners are more satisfied with their pups than with most humans in their lives – with the exception of their kids.
According to researchers, dog owners say they get more emotional support and companionship and have fewer conflicts with their dogs compared to relatives, partners, or friends. The bond between dogs and their owners is kinda like a parent-child relationship – full of affection and very little drama.
But dogs don't replace our human connections – they actually make them even better. The study found that people who have strong relationships with others also tend to have strong bonds with their dogs, showing that our furry friends boost our social connections rather than taking their place.
