Brantley Gilbert’s wife, Amber Cochran Gilbert, shared a heartwarming photo with the couple’s newborn baby and announced his name in an Instagram post on Sunday afternoon (October 13).
“We will never forget the way you got here and we can’t wait to see what you do here,” Amber wrote in her caption as she introduced Baby No. 3, Abram Howell Gilbert, who arrived on Friday (October 11).
On Saturday (October 12), Gilbert revealed his newborn son arrived during “what might have been the craziest night of my life.” Gilbert was pulled off stage shortly after kicking off his set during a concert in Tupelo, Mississippi, “for an emergency backstage.” Gilbert shared a video of that moment, which captured the country artist rushing offstage and calling his mother to announce her new grandchild arrived. Gilbert announced to the crowd, “we got a baby,” when he returned to the stage. Amber welcomed Abram Howell on the tour bus.
“So last night might have been the craziest night of my life,” Gilbert wrote in his caption. “Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I’ll never forget. Thank you to our road family for rallying around us, Brittany Thornton for helping us bring this little dude into the world, Tupelo, Mississippi for showing us mad love and support, and most of all… Amber Gilbert, for letting me love you and showing me EXACTLY how incredibly strong a woman can be. I love you.”
Gilbert announced his wife was pregnant with Baby No. 3 on Mother’s Day. Abram Howell joins big brother Barrett Hardy-Clay, 6, and big sister Braylen Hendrix, 5.
