Chris Janson’s signature “charismatic swagger” that he brings to the stage during live performances amplifies the energy in his latest anthem, “Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get.”

Janson unleashed the highly-anticipated single on Friday (March 8). It arrives shortly after Janson’s televised “Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get” performance at Dolly Parton’s Pet Gala, and one week after he took the stage with the upbeat anthem at the 2024 Country Radio Seminar (CRS) in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The Missouri-born singer-songwriter teamed up with Tyler Hubbard, RaeLynn, Blake Hubbard and Jarrod Ingram to write the track, which was produced by Julian Raymond, per a press release issued Friday.

“There is no better way to describe me on a daily basis,” Janson, who shared his reaction to hearing his new single on the radio for the first time, said in a statement. “This song is 100% authentic, every word. It’s fun, it’s rowdy and it’s the truth. Roll your window down and crank it up!”

Janson’s latest full-length album to release is The Outlaw Side Of Me, a 14-track collection that released in June 2023. The album included the title track, “All I Need Is You,” “Hank The Hell Out Of The Honkytonk” with Brantley Gilbert, “Every Day Of The Week” with Darius Rucker, “21 Forever” with Parton and Slash, and other highlights. The album added to a growing list of career-spanning hits from Janson, including “Fix a Drink,” “Good Vibes,” “Buy Me a Boat,” “Done” and many others.
