Study Shows Men With Beards Are Better Long-Term Boyfriends

My fiance has had a beard since he was 16 years old. In high school, most of the guys admired his ability to grow a nice full beard that most men couldn't achieve until they hit their late 20's. I never knew I was into guys with beards, or at least some sort of facial hair until him and I started dating.

Since then we've been together for 7 years and his beard has gone through many stages, but he always manages to maintain a "perfect" beard.

A study from Austraila found a correlation between the amount of facial hair men have to the preferences women have and how long that relationship would last.

The study goes on to state that 8,000 women ranked men's attractiveness for a short-term fling or a long-term relationship based on the amount of facial hair they had.

Results showed most women ranked men with heavy stubble as the sexiest overall, with short stubble coming second.

BUT, when it came down to long-term relationships, women preferred men with beards.

What about one-night stands? Men with light stubble score the most.

So men, if you're looking for a long-term relationship, start growing those beards!
