Sam Hunt Reveals Another Single Coming, Life After "Body Like A Back Road"

It's been more than a year since Sam Hunt released his record-breaking single "Body Like A Back Road." On May 16th, Hunt shared a new song with fans in the form of his brand new single "Downtown's Dead."

"Downtown's Dead" was co-written by Hunt, Josh Osborne, Zach Crowell and Shane McAnally, and like Hunt's previous music, the track blends country and R&B as the Georgia native sings about missing his love.

Hunt stopped by The Bobby Bones Show to talk with Bobby Bones about his life since releasing "Body Like A Back Road" and why he took a long break.

Hunt revealed that his life took a major turn after the hit song and he wanted to take some time for himself, "I was so hyperfocused on music for four years that when I looked up four years later, it was a different world around me."

Hunt also shared that he didn't have cable or TV for three years and just recently discovered Netflix, "I've been in a desert without water for three years."  So basically Hunt has been binging Netflix since his record-breaking success, but can you blame him?
