The Breakfast Club To Host 3rd Annual #Change4Change Radiothon

iHeartMedia’s The Breakfast Club all-day #Change4Change radiothon is back!

This year's radiothon will benefit the newly created The Breakfast Club HBCU Scholarship which will be awarded through the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), the nation's largest organization exclusively representing the Black College Community. The need-based scholarship will grant $5,000 to recipients for the 2020-2021 academic year.

The #Change4Change radiothon will broadcast on Thursday (November 21) during The Breakfast Club morning show from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. local time across more than 77 syndicated markets and will continue from 10 a.m. to midnight on Power 105.1, New York’s Hip-Hop and R&B station, with other participating markets to be announced.

The Breakfast Club’s on-air personalities DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God will host the #Change4Change radiothon and encourage listeners to donate in support of the TMCF.

“Now in its third year, the #Change4Change radiothon is recognized for truly making an impact in the communities that our listeners live and work,” said Thea Mitchem, EVP of Programming for iHeartMedia. “We are excited to partner with TMCF and to continue to invest in the education and future of many bright young people in our country.”

“The cultural, political and social impact The Breakfast Club has made in America on the iHeartRadio platform is truly remarkable,” said Harry L. Williams, President & CEO of TMCF. “This #Change4Change radiothon has the potential to change the lives of so many HBCU students because of the support of the faithful and committed The Breakfast Club listeners. While our 47 member-schools make up the publicly-supported HBCUs and Predominantly Black Intuitions, we are excited this scholarship is open to deserving students from all of our nation’s 101 HBCUs.”

Listeners can donate by texting: “change” to 52182 or by visiting BCchange4change.com.

For the past two years, the #Change4Change radiothon has raised over $1,000,000 to benefit various organizations including The Gathering for Justice and PROJECT375. Previous donors and supporters for the radiothon include Sean Diddy Combs, Cardi B, Eminem, Dr. OZ, Kevin Hart and many more.
