Lauren Alaina's New Song 'Getting Good' Is A Reminder To Live In The Moment

While it's easy to get caught up in planning for the future, it's important to recognize that the future isn't guaranteed and all we really have is the moment we're in.

Lauren Alaina's new single, "Getting Good," released Friday (September 27) is a perfect reminder to truly live for right now. Alaina's powerful vocal capabilities shine bright with the heartfelt lyrics written by Emily Weisband and produced by David Garcia.

"One I get a house that I can hang my hat on, I bet I'll want to build a bigger one if I could," Alaina sings. "I'm thinking, once I learn to grow right where I'm planted, maybe that's when life starts getting good."

"Getting Good" is her first single since 2018's "Ladies In The '90s" and follows up her "Town Ain't Big Enough" duet with Chris Young on his Raised On Country Album. Most recently, Alaina makes an appearance on Jon Pardi's new album Heartache Medication with the song "Don't Blame It On Whiskey."

On top of releasing new music, the country singer has also been a part of this season of ABC's Dancing With The Stars. Additionally, she'll be hitting the road for her "That Girl Was Me Tour" starting on September 14 in Columbia, MO. Joining her on the trek is country newcomer, Filmore. Tickets for the show are on sale now and can be purchased here.

"Getting Good" is set to impact country radio on October 7 and can be heard below.
