Keith Urban is set to honor The Beatles.  The country star is among the first performers announced to take part in the upcoming TV special "The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute To The Beatles." 

Maroon 5 and John Mayer are also on board for the event, along with Alicia Keys and John Legend. In addition, the Eurythimcs are reuniting for the occasion.  More participants will be added in the coming weeks. 

"The Night That Changed America" will be taped on January 27th -- the day after the 56th annual Grammy Awards.  It will air on CBS on Sunday, February 9th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, exactly 50 years to the day, date, and time that The Beatles made their debut on "The Ed Sullivan Show."
